The Habitat Restoration Fund is proud to support the Upper Crabtree Landcare Group in their determined efforts to control foxglove, an invasive species that threatens the local environment. For many years, the group’s members have shown exceptional commitment—securing grants, dedicating countless volunteer hours, and even contributing personal resources to run multiple control campaigns annually.

This project has grown into a true community effort, with several partner organisations joining forces to strengthen outcomes. A key achievement has been engaging neighbouring landholders, resulting in more than six properties across the Crabtree area working collaboratively to combat this invasive weed. Together, these combined efforts are making a real difference in protecting and restoring the health of the local landscape.
