    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using this website (www.hrfund.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

    2. Use of the Website

    You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

    4. Supporter/Donor Services Terms and Conditions

    Any donations made through this website are governed by our Supporter/Donor Terms and Conditions, which are incorporated into these Terms.
    All donations are non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances as outlined in those terms.
    By becoming a supporter/making a donation for the Habitat Restoration Fund (HRF), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

    4.1. Donations

    All donations to HRF are voluntary and non-refundable once made. Your donation directly supports habitat restoration, wildlife protection, and environmental education projects across Australia. HRF is a registered charity and Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). Tax-deductible receipts can be issued for donations of $2 or more.

    4.2. Secure Processing

    Donations and recurring subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe.

    When you complete a payment, you will be redirected to Stripe’s secure checkout page. From that point, your interaction with the payment is governed by Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are available at stripe.com/legal.

    4.3. Renewable (Recurring) Subscriptions

    You may choose a renewable monthly, quarterly, biannually or annually subscription.

    • Your chosen amount will be automatically debited from your nominated card or bank account on the same date each month/quarter.
    • You can opt up, reduce, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at least 5 business days before the next payment.
    • To cancel, simply email [email protected] or use the My Account link to amend your subscription. Cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle.

    4.4. Refunds & Money-Back Requests

    Because donations are used immediately for conservation work, HRF does not offer refunds except in exceptional circumstances (e.g. duplicate payment or proven error). Any refund request must be made in writing within 14 days of the donation and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) guidelines.

    This site may contain links to external websites. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices or availability of those sites.

    6. Privacy

    Your privacy is important to us. All personal information collected through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Please read our Privacy Policy at www.hrfund.org/privacy-policy.
